10 miles: Longest run since the marathon. Felt just okay today after being up a couple of times in the night with my son. I'm glad I got out there though. I pushed the last two miles in 12:05 (6:15,5:50) and that wasn't easy. It did feel good to push and have to mentally push through some discomfort. It's been a while. As usual it was a great way to start the day.

6 mile regeneration run and then 6 x 100 strides after. I felt tired today. I'm not sure if it was the 10 miles yesterday or following my son around asking him if he has to use the potty 200+ per day. I hope its the latter. Be safe tonight everyone. I will be going to bed at 8:30.

9.65 miles: Warmed up 2.85 miles including drills and strides before starting 8x 800 with 2 min jogs on the roads. This was a tough one. Averaged 2:34 with a range of 2:32-2:36. The jogs were quite slow (8:30-9:15 pace) but I had to recover and that is what it took. I was surprised I could go this fast already but I'm not going to lie...it was HARD!

8 miles recovery style. It's been a while since I truly needed a recovery run. Felt good to go slow and get the blood moving a little bit.

10.05 miles: AP 6:33: At this point this was a medium long run for me and I wanted a nice steady medium hard effort. That's what I got today. It was really windy thus morning at 3 am when I ran and I was running a loop so I was switching back and forth between 6:20/6:40 miles depending on if I was running with or against the wind. I'm pleased with the run and I feel like my endurance is coming around.

8 miles: 5 easy then last three in 17:27. Last 3 weren't easy but they were easier than the last two in 12:05 last week so there is progress there. It was cold this morning but now I started reading about the temps in Utah and I'm soft for sure.
