6 miles nice and slow without a watch. I'm liking the Saucony Mirage 3s as a trainer. There is just a little support in the arch if you need (I don't) but it fits/feels really good and is also nice and light for a trainer.

Guessing you have been thinking about fall races? Just curious about which ones you are considering.

Jake: I started thinking about it but a lot depends on Allison. The timing of Long Beach (Oct 13) seems perfect so I would like to do that one. I would like to pace Allison if she chooses to run a full. If she does it would be CIM or RnR AZ. She is running Hood to Coast in Aug. There is that 3tv Half or 10k which would fit in nice if we do CIM. I won the half last year and it's basically flat and not much crowd support/enthusiasm. The 10k would be a good competitive race for you. What are your plans? We are glad to see Andrea is running again!

Similar plan here. Local races through August, then I'll take a break and gear up for the fall. Probably either RnR San Jose or Long Beach in October, the 3TV 10K in November, maybe RnR Vegas 1/2, and then CIM.
