6.5 miles: 6 easy with some strides after that. I'm running a 5k in Tucson tomorrow. I'm hoping for a PR and I think I have an outside shot at 15:30 if things go well. There is usually good competition in this race. I hope so tomorrow.

Good luck on the 5k tomorrow!

I wanted to respond to your comment the other day - Allison may have a stress fracture in her femur? Where at? Be careful with that one, it can be dangerous. Wishing her the best! One of these days, we will both be back dominating again and not injured!!

Andrea: She is waiting to schedule MRI. Dr. Ball thinks possible stress reaction or fracture in femursl neck. She only ran with pain for a couple days so hopefully she didn't do much damage. The X-rays didn't reveal anything.

Ugh, poor girl. That's a rough area. Hopefully she stopped in time for it only to be a reaction and not a fracture. Wishing her the best and wishing YOU a 15:20-something tomorrow!! Go get it!!
