No run today. Part of the taper. It definitely feels weird to not run when I'm already feeling fresh but I'm going to error on the side of too much rest. I have also cut out my pushups and core work this week just to take all the stress possible off my body. I'm feeling lazy for sure. I'm not used to doing nothing. Tomorrow I'll get back at it with some 1 min pickups and then just a shakeout on Friday. The weather looks to be pretty good for the race but I've read that Duluth weather is highly unpredictable so I'm not putting much stock into any weather reports until Friday night. I'm packing for everything though. |
