AM: 6 easy miles this morning with no watch. I knew I needed to take it easy so I left the watch at home. Legs felt dead the first three miles and then got a little better. I think I underestimated the effects of Saturday's workout and while yesterday wasn't blazing it was probably too fast. Now is the time when I need to be using words like "bouncy" and "fresh" rather than "dead". PM: 4 easy miles + strides in the grass. Once I got loose it felt great just to be out running nice and easy. The strides felt great. This was a good sign after a case of the dead legs this morning. |
