8 miles: Warmed up my usual 2.8 miles including drills and strides then did 4 x 1k at goal 10k pace w/600 jog. Splits were 3:13,3:16,3:13,3:13. I wish it felt easier but it always seems like these little race pace intervals right before a race end up being a liitle harder than you think. I am running a 10k on Thanksgiving.
