8 miles w/4 x 3/4 miles in 4:10,4:11,4:07,4:07 (around HM pace) w/2 min jogs between. Last workout to keep the legs sharp. I will take tomorrow off and then just a couple more short runs. I'm so excited for the race that I packed most of my stuff last night.

I just did a blog on  all things about my upcoming marathon and Allison's race this weekend.

I'm doing the same workout this afternoon. Nice job!

Thanks Andrea! Good to hear you're doing the same workout. That's what Allison did too. I thought about a fifth one but talked myself off the ledge.

Just checked out your blog...awesome job down at the OC Half! Didn't realize other FRB'ers were there.

Have you done the survey for the race yet? The race committee really needs them!

Good luck this weekend!

Thanks Maika! I haven't done the survey yet. I enjoyed the race except it was obviously a huge error to have the half marathoners start so close behind the marathoners. I was running into people after 2 miles and really struggled passing people up on that smaller path around mile 7. I am going to do the survey though because I would like to do it again.

Oh shoot, I didn't even think about that. They started the marathon about 20 minutes late too, so that didn't help the fast half-marathoners. I know that part of the course is very narrow for the bulk of the race. This was the first year they started the half after the full, it works for the majority of the runners, not the racers though! The OC marathon caters to the community runners, not the elites! But I still love it!
